Barnardos Australia is one of the leading child protection charities in Australia. This organisation builds relationships between children, young people, their families and the community. They advocate for children and young people and contribute to community knowledge about their issue. Barnardos Australia provides services and information in the following areas: Foster Care, Kin Care & Adoption; Support services for families; Community support for all children; Case management tools; and supports for older boys and girls. The work of Barnardos Australia deals particularly with the prevention of abuse and entry into care. Barnardos operates children’s family centres, permanency programs for Out Of Home Care, adolescent services and advocacy work.

Catholic Care is the official welfare agency of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Sydney, delivering more than 140 programs in the areas of ageing, dementia and disability care; employment, education, training and support services; and children, youth and family services.The services provided include family and relationship counselling; drug, alcohol and gambling support services; foster care and adoptions; services for children and young persons at risk of physical or emotional harm; mediation and conciliation; marriage preparation; school counselling; employment services; St Patrick’s Institute of Education; training for people with a disability; supported accommodation; respite services; and support services for the aged and people with a disability.

KARI Aboriginal Resources Inc runs an OOHC Program that is exclusively for Australian Aboriginal children and young people. They aim to provide our children and young people with Aboriginal carers and families to facilitate an environment where the child or young person has a connection with their culture. KARI also provides various programs and workshops that have strong culture content. KARI prides itself on the high quality care that is provided to children and young people and the professional support that is provided to the Aboriginal carers who provide that care day to day. Programs include Aboriginal Out Of Home Care, Community Programs Initiatives, Aboriginal Advocacy, Promoting Community Cultural awareness, Partnership Exploration.

Pathfinders Ltd's largest program and services is the Pathways Out-Of-Home-Care (OOHC) program. Pathways provides individuals who are in care of the state with a home in which to live and grow. Pathways overall aim is to provide the environment and circumstances for these individual’s to achieve success across a number of areas including education, living skills, coping mechanisms, and much more. One large and also very challenging aspect of this responsibility is assisting these young people to gain employment.

Wandiyali ATSI has supported and cared for Indigenous children, young people and families for 13 years. We support up to 800 individual clients in any one year over nine program areas. Samaritans see thousands of people through more than 100 services each year that offer disability and mental health support, outreach to young people and families, those who are homeless or experiencing tough times, and much more. Settlement Services International is a leading not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of humanitarian settlement, accommodation, asylum seeker assistance and foster care in NSW. Services include: 1) Humanitarian Settlement Services Program – casework and housing support during the first 12 months for humanitarian entrants and refugees who have been granted a permanent protection visa (Federally funded); 2) Community Support Program (Community Assistance Scheme and Asylum Seeker Assistance Scheme) - casework and financial support for asylum seekers granted bridging visas while their claim for asylum is assessed (Federally funded); 3) Enterprise Facilitation - aims to facilitate business creation for refugee clients eager to establish a small business with the support of a Resource team of professionals (self-funded); 4) Multicultural Foster Care Service – provides foster care services to parents, children and young people from CALD backgrounds, with a focus on children from Vietnamese and African backgrounds (NSW Government funded)
